Easter Eggs

On Saturday, April 23, 2011, the Monroe Lion's Club will hold it's annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Monroe Community Park. The Easter egg hunt will start at 1:00pm, and will take place rain or shine.

There will be prizes given for each age group and a grand prize in the 4 & under age group. Please come early as the main parking lot will be closed for the safety of the children. The age groups are as follows: 4 & under, 5 to 8 year olds, and 9 to 12 year olds. There will be 2,400 eggs hidden in addition to the 25 prize eggs in each age group.

Easter 2011

It hasn’t even snowed yet, well except for that little hail storm Long Island got pelted with a few weeks ago, and many people are wondering: When is Easter 2011?

Also known as the unofficial beginning of spring.

Easter Sunday will fall on April 24, 2011. Yes, folks, that is a long time away, but not too long.

Five months. That’s not too bad right?
