Robbin Williams has made his Broadway debut, playing a tiger in “Bengal Tiger at the Bagdad Zoo.”

The show follows the lives of two American Marines and an Iraqi translator, who are forever changed by an encounter with a quick-witted tiger who haunts the streets of Baghdad. In the play by Rajiv Joseph, directed Moises Kaufman, 59-year-old Robin Williams plays a tiger who bites of the hand of an American soldier, gets shot and comes back as the ghost searching for meaning in the war-torn city.
