The 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to begin. The balloons have been inflated, the marching bands are assembled and the clowns are putting on their make-up. This year, nearly 3.5 million people are expected to take to the streets of New York. At home, a 50 million audience will watch via NBC.
The parade starts at 9 A.M. ET at Central Park West and continues until noon. It will pass the Times Square and all the way to 34th Street via 6th Avenue. Balloon inflations happened yesterday on 77th and 81st Streets where the general public was permitted to observe from 3 to 10 P.M.
