Candice Crawford

Everybody is moving on from the Jessica Simpson - Tony Romo era. Slightly over a month after Simpson announced her engagement to Eric Johnson, her ex Romo reportedly popped the question to girlfriend Candice Crawford.

Romo proposed to the former Miss Missouri while they were celebrating her 24th birthday at Five Sixty restaurant in Dallas on December 16. The engagement story is based on a report by Dallas' KDAF-TV where Crawford works as a sports reporter.


Candice Crawford is the younger sister of "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford. She started dating the Dallas Cowboys quarterback in summer 2009. Romo, who is sidelined after breaking his collarbone back in October, previously dated Carrie Underwood who is now married to hockey player Mike Fisher.
