Pakistani U.S Citizen And Al Qaida

A Pakistani U.S citizen Farooq Ahmad, was sentenced to 23-years in prison in a bomb plotting case.

35 year old Farooq Ahmad was accused of joining an al-Qaeda plot to bomb the Washington DC subway system.

Farooq Ahmad had confessed his link with al-Qaeda during the investigation, besides confessing that he had collaborated to a plot of bomb planting, according to the Justice Department.

Farooq Ahmed, a resident of the city of Ashburn in Virginia, went to the US in 1993 and was arrested in October 2010 by the FBI.
