Charice Making Film With Salman Hayek

International singing sensation Charice is reportedly making a movie with Salma Hayek and other popular Hollywood stars including Kevin James, Henry Winkler, Joe Rogan, Germaine De Leon and Shelly Desai.

The comedy-action movie entitled “Here Comes the Boom.” will be directed by Frank Coraci and set to premiere by next year.

Charice, who is doing a role in the second season of Glee, is reportedly playing the part of Malia in the upcoming Hollywood comedy action movie.

“The movie is about a school about to lose the music department, so the school music teacher goes to cage fighting for prize money to keep the music program,’” the blog entry read.

Charice made her debut appearance on Glee 2 Episode 1 entitled ‘Audition’, and received a lot of praises not only from her fans worldwide but also from fellow artists.

On that episode, Charice had a duet with Lea Michele and sang Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’, and eventually became a popular trend on Google and Twitter.

Glee is a musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues

Charice, who was three years old when she and her younger brother Carl together with her mother left their father in search of a better life, has many interesting stories to tell.

In May 2008, according to imdb.com, "Charice was invited to guest on Oprah, for a themed show called World's Smartest Kids. She sang I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston and bought the audience to their feet, giving her another standing ovation. No one was more impressed than Oprah Winfrey herself though, incredulously asking her, "Girl, that was fantastic! Who are you?!"

'The next day, Charice and her mother were already on a plane waiting to take off for the Philippines when Oprah called to stop the plane and bring them back to her office. Oprah had been so impressed with the girl and couldn't get her off her mind. She listened to Charice's story and told her, "Don't lose hope. I promise you something big will happen." She then called legendary music producer David Foster "who took Charice on under his wing," imdbcom. added.

Charice and David Foster have been working together since they were introduced by Oprah. Last year they had a very successful concert tour in Asia.
