Mariska Hargitay Adopt A Baby Girl

Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann are the proud adoptive parents of a baby girl!

Mariska Hargitay and her husband named their new daughter Amaya Josephine.

Amaya was adopted in the U.S. and was born about a week ago.

“The couple are overjoyed by the wonder of their new daughter,” Mariska’s rep said. “Her brother, [four-year-old] August, is thrilled to have the sister he’s always wanted.”

Mariska and Peter have been married since August of 2004.
